RAAI Ricochet Ambient Audio Interface

The RAAI Ricochet Ambient Audio Interface RAAI consist of two analogue-to-digital (AD) converters fitted in one compact casing. It can convert up to six differential audio lines to Voice over IP (VoIP) streams. These VoIP streams are normally sent to a recorder service.
Typically, a recorder service will have two redundant recorders named recorder A and B. Each of the AD-converters in the RAAI operate independently and output the VoIP stream on the Ethernet ports LAN A, connected to recorder A, and LAN B, connected to recorder B, respectively.
The Ricochet Ambient Audio Interface RAAI is designed to be mounted in a 3U sub-rack or in a desktop box
The indicators at the front of the RAAI provides information about the status of the system. At the rear, the RAAI has XLR connectors for six differential audio input lines, two 100Mbit Ethernet ports, and a DC input port.
The RAAI is powered from Power over Ethernet or a 12-32 V DC power supply source. Redundant power can be achieved by using two PoE injectors and a DC power supply or using the optional Dual Power Supply Kit with a Y-cable connected to the DC-power connector.
